When i send my renewal for EAD i always write Attn: I-765 , for AP Attn: I-131 , for my I-360 i wrote VAWA Unit. 

 

Best to send with USPS Priority mail envelope and select signature required.

 

i always get signature from "Laura Zuchowski"

Looks like folks in general..just like you did too, use the VAWA unit instead!😊 so i'ld say best just use the VAWA unit as mentioned earlier..💁

Hello all,

          Hope that everyone is doing well. Did have of our members who are based in NYC and who filed the Vawa petition during the summer of 2017 between June-September 2017 receive either their interview notices or acknowledgment from their local field office yet? Thank you for your time and attention. I’m just trying to get a tough idea of the wait time. Best of luck!

Trust the universe. Believe if yourself, I think there is no reason to fear if you have acted  with  honesty and sincerity. Now, you must wait for them to see your truth.

If you have a good attorney, they won’t take any offense and take it personally, if you ask them to follow up. Why are they dissuading you from contacting your Congress person? It’s true, they the congress person might not be able to help you. But, if your application is outside of normal processing times, there it’s your right to make an inquiry. On what grounds did your attorney tell you not to reach out to the congressman? Remember, it’s your name on the application and you are the applicant - your attorney is just providing you legal advice and representation. You still have the right to ask questions and ultimately make the call if you are not satisfied or happy with their ability to answer your questions and concerns and fully represent your case.

There have been May 2018 approvals my dear. But here's the thing..it all depends on the complexity of individual cases and the speed of the officer handling the cases! That's why there are people waiting from Jan, Feb Mar Apr, etc 2017 still..even when they get to Dec 2018 cases there'll still be outstanding cases from early 2018 waiting for decisions...it's just the way it is..but I pray everyone is approved surely in good time!🙏😊

just got un update in my pending I-485, before my VAWA... on the website says the regular message... but in the email. Says 

Your case Status: Initial review 

Does anyone knows what initial review means???

Is your VAWA approved? If yes the i485 is been moved to NBC then will be directed to your local office to join the queue for interview..😊

yep... VAWA approved back in May 2019... hope my interview comes soon!!!!

Also initial review is the stage where the file is checked for any lacking documents..if anything is missing or insufficient, an RFE is issued! Also for those whose VAWA has not been approved..USCIS sometimes transfers your marriage based i485 from NBC/local office to Vermont if you asked them to hold it pending VAWA approval... They did that in my case..it was transferred to Vermont and upon approval, was transferred back to my local office where I'm currently waiting for interview!👍

My pending I-485 was based in marriage, so they put it on hold when I filled VAWA... just wondering it was with my VAWA package and now is moving to my local office...   thanks!!!
