Contact your congressperson to inquire on your behalf.

Hello Sandranj thanks for your reply. I have a lawyer and i asked him if he can inquire and he says no. He said it's not a good thing to inquire because it will look like am putting them under pressure. Is it ok for me to go ahead and inquire through a congressperson without letting my lawyer know.

I believe you meant your lawyer is going to apply for i-765,(EAD C9) i-485 and i-131(AP) right? You can't be applying for i-360 when you already have a prima facie..anyway the work permit will come way before your VAWA is approved..maybe in 4-5months..sometimes longer!👍

Before you get that response I just want to let you know that enquiring about your case doesn't put USCIS under any form of pressure!!! He probably just wants to ensure he's the alpha and omega of your case!😀 you can be polite and tell him you have decided to enquire regardless or just go ahead and enquire without informing him if he feels so strongly about it!💁

@Stillwinning!!!😊 Should I send my I-131 application to Vermont and should I put "ATTN: Humanitarian Division"?

Let me use this opportunity to say that anyone who has a pending VAWA should direct any further applications to Vermont Center! So yes dear😊👍 Vermont it is! Vermont Service Center. ATTN: VAWA Unit.
