Hello to you all,  I just want to share my timeline. I believe it will help some of you

- Filled on November, 2017     from this date to April 2019 have't heard anything from uscis except Me requesting for extension of  prema facia

- 4 prema facias till date

 - April 2019 RFE for good moral character. (police clearance from back home) It took me almost 2 months to send my RFE

- May 2019 biometrics

- I-360 August status change for card production

- I-765 denial because I was provided the EAD under I-360 (C-31)

- September, 2019 I-360 Approval letter

I am sharing this  because everyone's case and processing is different. for those of you who are trying to file, my journey begins like this:

when I apply I submitted I-360 I-765 and I-485 but i should have added I-131 for travel document. Now I am not qualified for the fee waiver which is around $400

For I-360 I provided :

- my passport Copy , copy of birth certificate, Copy of passport of former husband  and Social Security Number, copy of birth certificates of the children born of my marriage , passport copy of children & copy of Social Security card

- Copy of a marriage certificate authenticated(mine is divorce decree), Copies of pictures taken during our wedding ceremony,

- Copies of intimate pictures of me and former husband, other trips, during family gatherings, children birthdays, and others showing close relationship with our children, a family portrait, pictures taken with family members

- Psychological Evaluation

- Picture’s of bruises

- Affidavits from church, mom, sister and friend

- police clearance from where I reside now and past 3 years ( back home)

RFE-  Good moral character and personal affidavit. I provided police clearance from back home, I wrote about myself stating my good moral character with law, relatives and community. affidavit from my cousin about my good moral character and provided pictures of my volunteering activities on this 3 years. and copy of E-mail invitations from charities/NGO. . . where I am participating.

I didn't have anything jointly No bank account, lease agreement, shared residency. . . name it I don't have it;)  he didn't file I-130  for me

we had a big wedding ceremony, lived for 7 years and blessed with two kids.

My advice for you: provide each and every document's you could. And please wait patiently. Pray and praise every day.

My Ex took my kids away from me since 2016 to another continent, I didn't have a work Permit for the last 3 years. But by the Grace of God I'm here. whatever God does for me he will definitely do it for you. Be still and know that He is God.

May God be with you in every stage of you journey.

with Love and a big smile on my face

Congrats!!!😇 Your timeline is very similar to mine. How long did it take them to approve your case once your status changed to "Card in production?"

I am a Nov 2017 filer as well, my status changed to "Card under Production" in June , but it's been over 100 days and my case status still hasn't changed to "your case was approved"😕

Thanks, card production on August 2nd and approved on September 25. But you don't have to worry they might not change your status online. yours is approved. Relax

Did you received your card? if yes, what kind of card is it? where did they mail it? to you or your attorney's office?

Because I didn't receive a card.

Yes, I received my card back in July under category C31. It was mailed to my attorney. Don't worry you will get the card, but I guess they are really messy with these cases. It took me about 2 weeks to get the card once the status changed.

HEY,

MY ATTORNEY WANTS TO APPLY FOR FEE WAIVER FOR I-485. I ALREADY HAVE WORK PERMIT FROM MY DENIED I-485. IT'S GONNA EXPIRE AT START OF THIS YEAR.

APPLYING FEE WAIVER WON'T SLOW DOWN THE PROCESS OF GETTING NEW WP? I HAVE ALREADY SUBMITTED MY 360 A FEW MONTHS AGO.

I NEED YOUR HELP SINCE I AM GETTING A JOB OFFER.

Did you apply for VAWA before the I-485 got denied?

Why was it denied? Officer declined to hold or something else?

Spouse a US citizen or not?

I believe your work permit is not valid anymore. If your  EAD was based on you I-485 that was denied, the EAD was probably canceled when the application was denied. Apply for a new one ASAP because the processing time is between 5.5 to 7.5 months now...

I have been using this on my current job. It's still Valid. Yes, I am going to apply in this week but I need to know about fee waiver. Since I couldn't  work for most of time thanks to my therapies  and injuries, my attorney thinks he can get my fee waived. I wanna get my WP ASAP. SO PUTTING FEE WAIVER WOULD HELP ME OR NOT?

Hi community,

Thank you for always being able to help and give a good piece of advise.
I am seeking information on the below.

So, I have pending I485 based on marriage and pending I360 (NOA1 24APR19, Fingerprint Review Completer 24MAY19).
I currently have EAD+AP which are going to be expired on 29NOV19 and I applied for an extension of both in July, so waiting (applied by my own, with no help from my lawyer because she was asking for more money)...

I have a lawyer ONLY on my I360 petition, all the steps before I took without a lawyer and she is not a lawyer on my I485 unless USCIS link it automatically.
Me and my lawyer sent in I360 before divorce was finalized, so divorce decree was not included in the application.
I want to send it in now and curious if I can do so by my own or only my lawyer can do so if I have her on file for I360? Will USCIS accept communication from me or only from her?  (also I want to request my lawyer for a copy of I360 application she sent in because only she knows what she included from everything I provided to her and to check if I need to include anything else except of Divorce Decree).

Another question is about my I485 pending application:
So, in July my case status changed to "Ready to be scheduled for an interview" but I just moved in June and I did submit address change as required, but never got a confirmation of address change, so as soon as I saw new I485 status I enquired help from Congressman Local Office (as VJ members advised, thank you for that) and got feedback that USCIS has my new address, it is updated and interview will be scheduled at my new local office, but wait time in this area is longer, so it will take at least 6 more months to schedule it.
Now the question is: Should I submit a request to hold in abeyance until my I360 is adjudicated or not? Again...can I request that or I am not authorised to do such requests and only my lawyer can do so?

Please assist as you have more experience and knowledge!
Thank you and love to you all!

let the attorney apply for waiver for the new I485, Ask him if he is ok sending in the $ for EAD if you want to be extra safe and avoid delays.

BTW, How is your EAD still valid? I thought if the underlying I-485 was denied it cancels the linked C9 EAD as well. Private message @sandranj with more details of your case, she can advise you, she is an attorney and an angel really!!
