You can enquire through your congressperson. But most people waited up to 24months for approval. Yours is coming!🙏

Exactly! Some people's wait time are longer than others depending on the officer's speed..or how complex your case is.. @Allrounder it will come!😊👍

@Stillwinning!!!😊 & @sandranj I wanted to file for I-131 and I have a lawyer, she's charging me $600 for whole process and filing it. My question is can I just file I-131 by myself without her knowing it?

@Chicago_315 When you have an attny its recommended to NOT do things behind their back. Many attnys will drop you as a client if you do something behind their back. So I suggest asking them if you can file the 131 on your own since you do not have the money for their fees. Just make sure they are aware that you will be doing it yourself.

Inform them. Thats what i did

It's always advisable to be courteous inform your attorney that you prefer to file a particular petition by yourself if you feel you cannot afford the fees. That petition is free and yes you can file on your own..but just keep your attorney informed!😊👍

Amen honey. Before I got approved I was anxious as well..I used to read stories of denials..I mean those cases were stronger than mine...it scared me silly!😳 then I dropped them all and focused on success stories..it did me a whole world of good!😊👍 stay prayerful your approval is en route!
