Thanks for responding @sandranj. I have not received an interview date for the i485 yet. The action taken on the account stated that interview is ready to be scheduled. I know that it can take a long time to be schedule but when they do,  I'll go to the interview and ask them to place it on hold in obeyance pending adjudication of my i360. How do you think they will handle my i765 that was filed with the old i30 & i485 application? Do you think they will still issue the ead?

Yes they will issue the EAD.

Hey Cashweed can you kindly point me to the direction of the source of this your research. I have read through almost the entire immigration website and i didnt find this information that you are talking about. The 9 requirements for citizenship and the exemption of 3 years instead of 5 green card requirement for vawa is the only thing i came across. Please kindly give me the source of this information, so that i can get a look at it. Thanks

Check was Sandra wrote. I came across that while doing my own research to learn more about vawa and I have never heard of it before. That's why I shared it here and asked if anyone has heard about that?. Apparently it's not correct.

Thats where I read the info. https://www.masslegalhelp.org/income-benefits/food-stamps/advocacy-guide/part2/q51-special-rules-battered-immigrants

I just went through the article and the benefits referred to in that article is SNAP (Supplimental Nutritional Assistance Programs). Check the article and open the links and you will understand the article better. Its not talking about citizenship. Its talking about people with various status benefiting from SNAP.  That article is from the department of transitional assistance.

Hello Guys

I Found this page on USCIS, which have most  2019 VAWA appeals and Motion request to reopen or reconsider decision on Denied and revoke on Real Vawa cases.  very explanatory... If you have the time to read it read i'm a little bored and start reading and understanding how USCIS sometime see and handles our cases is fascinated. On how Lawyers and USCIS argues every case that has been denied or Revoke,, to reconsider opening for approval.

Hello every one, in as much as i try to be patient and less anxious, i am still very frustrated  bc i don't know what is going on. Today is exactly 20months since i filed vawa, March 14 2018. I have not heard even a word from them. Please can some one tell me if this is normal or i need to do something.  Nothing as bad as not knowing what will come next.  Any body in same boat? Please share. Thanks

Thanks for posting this. It was an eye opener. I read each PDF until March 2019 and my head began hurting . All I’ll say is may the will of God be done in my application and the rest of us waiting patiently.
