Bring your original Birth certificate, all the copies of  documents you filed in case of missing file, dont forget your I864W and new medical exam.

Marriage certificate or copy of divorce.

Give a specific reply to a question the IO will ask.

Good luck

Thank you !!!!!! 😮😮

Hey!

same thing happened with me. What I did was:

answered  ASAP... about 35 days

what I told myself was, you know online update where it says something like “ we sent you a RFE...if you do not receive it by xyz date, let us know”... that date for me was way into the future from the day the alert was sent. I was determined to send response by that day if not sooner.

hope this helps. What is your RFE for?

Good morning,

question about expediting EAD.

I file for EAD on July/2019. I would like to expedite my EAD but I don’t have a job offer, I used to work as a real estate agent and we are not employees on a W2, we work as independent contractors on a 1099.  I have 2 neighbors who want to buy a house and if I can help them both I’ll receive a pretty good commission so I don’t want to lose that opportunity. My question is what can I submit as far as proof to USCIS?? Any ideas? Maybe @sandranj ?

Thank you!!!

08/2017 - Married USC

09/2017 - Application for I-485, I-765, I-131

Great!

my RFE was about good faith marriage as well. Let me know if you have any questions. I had posted an extensive list of everything I sent as a reply, it should be in part 15 I think.

Expedition criteria have to be meet in order from them to approve it. One of them is a job offer, Medical expenses, or Financial loss for yourself or your employer.  But if you have renew your EAD on time, you have your valid 180 days extension you can work with that, not sure if that your case.

Hello Sandraj

The police report was about harassment maybe that's why they asking for it again or maybe my lawyer didn't send it at all. But I have a copy of the report I will submitted and see again. Now I'm trying to get the evaluation done and hopefully that may help me also. Can I go to any psychologist or does he has to be someone specialized in VAWA?.

Thank you so much Sandra.

The psychologist doesn’t need to know about VAWA Law,but look for someone  who has knowledge about  domestic violence.

Hey All,

I received an RFE on my pending AOS, it was NBC asking for a birth certificate. Received it on Thursday and Friday I responded, I sent the answer to both Vermont and Lee’s summit MO offices, the letter said to send it to NBC but I went ahead and sent it to both offices, is there any problem I do this?

I don't think there is any problem at all. You're only trying to secure all fronts..which is a smart thing to do!👍

I also have Police report base on harassment, they issue me a order of protection base on this harassment, and also a criminal case move along with the harassment issue, but no criminal charge was put on, Criminal Order of protection was also issue for me.... Worry now this will be not be enough?? Any advice @sandranj

Many immigratios officers consider a police report for harassment enough for a VAWA case, but you may get  an immigrant officer who thinks differently.
