Got you. So file now..what are you waiting for? Lapses can be costly..could get you out of work..the earlier, the better! Anytime you file your renewal on time, they send the NOA which doubles as an extension wether indicated or not.👍

This is the receipt that came with my last EAD..they said I can use it as an extension for my Ead when am out of Ead if my application is still pending and not denied ..go through it ..I haven’t filed for new Ead am sending the paper work soon ..

Yes @Blunt it's the NOA! I have it too and it says pretty much the same thing! So again I recommend you send in renewals on time! That way you keep getting the extensions!👍😊

I have a question, the timelines on here are all over the place. I see people who filed VAwA in 2018 being approved and 2017 approved. What year are they actually working on? Are they really skipping around like this? I skim through some posts where people are waiting since 2016 and 2017. I saw someone mentioned approval from May or so in 2018, is this right?

The timeline doesn’t follow, it’s not 100percent accurate ... USCIS just do their thing...we all pray to God for Our time to come my dear.. everybody's time would come by God grace

Dear house

I applied the form I-360, I-485 along with form I-765 and I-131 in the month of May 2018 got my prima facie and later on got my work permit and advance parole for 1 year that later on I applied for the renewal  of work permit and advance parole got  the  renewal for 1  more year in the the month of June 2019 which is going to expire in June 2020.

so I have a question since the USCIS is taking long time can I applied for the renewal of work permit and advance parole in the month of December 2019

ie 6 months before the expiration of the current work permit and advance parole so that I will get the timely renewal.

Sure dear, you can renew up to 180 days prior to expiration of the EAD!😊👍 I recommend it..like you said..to get timely renewal!

Last time I didn’t pay any renewal fees for form I-765 and I-131 since I-485 is pending so do you think the renewal of the I-765 and I-131 will be free this time as well or should I submit the fees wavier for form I-765 and I-131 this time.

Personally, I've never paid for any renewal..and no one who has a pending i485 should! You do not have to pay as long as you still have a pending i485 like I said!👍😊

You have to file new EAD and that letter extends the EAD by 180 days. Not the previous letter.

I think my lawyer is not well organized I'm not even sure he submitted all the materials because I asked him a copy of the police and shelter letter but he couldn't find it. I think he doesn't know what he is doing and I was very naive to hire him. But I will submit the shelter letter again and try to get the evaluation done. It is my biggest challenge now.

Hi Ibrahim,

When you say you submitted police report, do you mean police report showing u r a person. Of good moral character  or did you call police  on your abuser and got the police report ?

Dear house

I just check online and came to now that there is a form 325a biographic form that has to be added in the form I-485.

do you think this form is very essential part of the I-485 packet

Need suggestions

G325A is not used anymore ,for long time, the new l485 has the questions regarding form G325A.

Hi everyone!!! What do you think about this...🤔

I contacted my congresswoman to inquire about my case... after 2 weeks I got an update

to explain simple... my point is... 1-change of address update (not my abuser address)

2- my request of an AP outside processing time and 3- if they already transferred my I-360 approved to my local office

so today I got an online update...

my AP got transferred... great!

I haven’t heard anything about my change of address (so the congresswoman will inquire again) Done... but look at this

USCIS update my case under my EAD saying that this case (work authorization) was transferred to another office... really??? I already have that work permit from May and it is a C-31 when I got my Vawa approved!!!!

Do you think... that could means that they transfer my whole case to my local office???

If you filed form l765 category C9 and didn’t receive the EAD (C9) until now then USCIS is referring to the form l765(C9).
