Not that I know of...they usually send you NOA/prima facie..that's how you know it was received! At least that was how it was for me!👍 for some people it takes longer..I received mine in two weeks! But it's not unusual for them to send much later...

Thanks for replying . Appreciated.

i have a questions for whoever received Interview notice already. What do they ask you to bring to the interview? Trying to see if for everyone it's a generic letter or they customize it for each person depending on what they need.

Thanks.

Just said to bring passport, photo ID, medical I-693, any criminal records, etc....

Your A-number is sufficient! They are able to pull up all your cases! If you schedule an infopass, you will meet with an officer in person! Your congressman can help enquire if it was successful updated! Google the congressperson for your district..it will come up..they will guide you! I suggest you get to it so it's sorted now!👍

Thanks!!! I appreciate your help! :)

Following the inputs so far, and from other sources, I think the interview letter is more generalised...than customized..I still have my interview letter from just last year inviting my spouse and I to our marriage based interview..study your letter and go with all the documents it says to bring!👍

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Why do they keep making all these avoidable mistakes ? Costing applicants more time and money. They should know that when you file I-360 application, then all roads leads to Vermont Service Center . Kindly ask your attorney to correct their mistake themselves.

That is the problem i am having with my attorney. Since February i am still waiting for my EAD renewal.  So sad. I may end up fireing my attorney if he didn't do the needful by sending letter to Vermont with copies of my EAD renewal. For speeding renewal. Does anyone has other ways of going about this?

Iam in the same situation .. my attorney sent the renewal to missouri may 2019 .. and i got a notice 2 days ago that they transferred to another office .. may be they transferred it after my congresswoman got involved ..

You can contact your congresswoman/man and let them inquire about your case on your behalf !

Yeah, they do mention all the originals documents along with any us certified translations (if any) but also they require pictures, residence proof and so on.

i recall there was someone here asking if they need to provide divorce decrees from the previous marriages- they specifically say: ALL. So, better to obtain them ahead so that when time comes not to stress about it.

Thank you all!

You can contact your congress person . If you didn’t have an attorney you could also expedite on severe hardship or imminent loss of work . My C09 EAD renewal with my ex spouse was taking long going seven months, I called a level 2 officer and immediately asked for an expedite on hardship . The nice immigration officer sent me an email asking for prove. I scanned a personal cover letter, letter from my employer explaining how losing my job could affect me and my department, I also sent a photocopied picture of my work badge showing expiration. The nice officer sent me an email saying he only got 2 scan, I sent again and two days later my EAD went into production on my way to work that morning, I nearly got a heartattack lol 😂

Moral of the story - Most immigration officers will give you tough time . I remember explaining myself to him the first time, he told me he was once in my position and was an immigrant before .

Hi, is it ok to just renew an advance parole? Instead of filing a new one to avoid them rejecting it if I don’t attach a fee?

i have a pending I-485 and my VAWA is approved. @sandranj

your advice is appreciated!

Hi everyone!

Hope you guys are having a beautiful Sunday!

I have a question... when my I-360 was approved, I freaked out because my pending I-485 has my ex address... so I mailed to Vermont the AR-11 and attached the NOA of my I-360 approved. after 2 months of doing that, I got an update in  my case... "correspondence received and USCIS is reviewing it", I did not get any other update, this was back on May 2019.

I did not add a notarize letter on my change of address and the AR-11 does not have a space where you can input a EAC or MSC number, just your A- number.

If I should contact my congressman to know if my change of address is done and also I want to know where my file is located... how can I do that?

one more... if I schedule an infopass. is that to see an Officer in person?

thanks!!!!

Set up an appointment with infopass to confirm if Uscis changed your address.
