you are rite..... not sure how they handle stuff.....some applied in early 2018 got approved i myself applied june 2017 and still waiting.....

It makes no sense whatsoever. If you get lucky with your officer then your case seems to go faster. I applied for EAD renewal and after months of stress, it got approved in the 4.5-5 month timeframe. Iโ€™m reading where people are waiting 6 months and nothing. Itโ€™s just sad to not know where youโ€™ll fall. I know 5yrs ago VAWA took like 6 months to 8 months for approval. Now people are waiting 2yrs and some longer. God help us all. I just wanted to ask because it makes no sense from what Iโ€™m seeing on here. Iโ€™m a Jan 2019 filer, so I know my journey just begun, but Iโ€™m praying for a May approval. Iโ€™m claiming that date for myself regardless of their messy timeline.

You are right. Timelines are all over the place . Same thing goes for AOS(marriage) thatโ€™s the worst and itโ€™s so disappointing. I have a close friend adjusting through marriage who originally filed June 2017 and went for his first interview February 2019 with the spouse and got no response after interview, then got called a month later for another interview (stoke) . After the stoke my friend got no response till today . This whole applications be it I-360 or I-485 (marriage) depends on the immigration officer. Most officers Iโ€™ll say are lazy and wonโ€™t give decisions and still take more new cases piling up their workloads making the whole system slow and placing peopleโ€™s life on hold . Personally, USCIS needs to be restructured all over again and employ and train more officers.ย

Amen. Iโ€™m not trying to bash or bring negativity because everyone needs a little hope. I just pray everyone will get speedy approvals. Where thereโ€™s a will, thereโ€™s a way.ย

Congratulations to all the new approvals!ย

Sending good vibes and prayers for all those who have interviews coming up.

Please go over your i485 form and make sure you write down on a paper all changes since you filed it like new employment, marriage/divorce, form mistakes youโ€™d want to correct etc. and present that to the officer.ย

You will all have successful interviews with Godโ€™s Grace!

ย Itโ€™s going to be your interview so I think taking a lawyer just to be a spectator may be unnecessary, but of course it depends on your situation.ย

Peace and blessings to all.ย

Did you mean the NOA? Yes it serves as extension if you have promptly filed for a renewal!ย

Yea the NOA for the first i765 that I filed ,it states on it that I can use it for an extension of 180 days after the actual real physical card expires and while waiting for the new card..I can snap that part and send to you if you dnt mind to have a clear understanding of what am talking aboutย

Oh no need for that..I have one of those..so I absolutely know what you're talking about!๐Ÿ˜Š so good thing you have an extension, I'm not sure what the problem is..did you want to clarify something? Actually you can present that to your employer to note..just incase they start asking for a renewal card. It keeps you employed till the renewed card shows up!๐Ÿ’

Yeah I want to be sure if you actually understood what am talking about ,I meant the previous i765 that I filed and I already have the card and the card is about to expire soon ..it was the receipt that came with the last fresh filing of the card that I am using now that is about to expire am talking about ...I havenโ€™t filed for the renewal yet ...I am talking about my first Ead receipt ..it shows on the NOA that I can use it as an extension tooย

Got you. So file now..what are you waiting for? Lapses can be costly..could get you out of work..the earlier, the better! Anytime you file your renewal on time, they send the NOA which doubles as an extension wether indicated or not.๐Ÿ‘
