Friends. Need suggestion.

USCIS just updated processing time for I360 and they are working on Dec 22, 2017 cases. However, they received my case on Dec 19, 2017 and notice date on my I767 is December 26, 2017. My case is now outside processing time. Since i received RFE so it might have delayed my case further. I want to ask if I can wait till I get approval or I should submit an inquiry? I don't mind in waiting as far as I am working. what do you guys recommend?

Wait a little more to see their response on your RFE! How long has it been since the RFE? If you didn't get an RFE I would have advised you submit an enquiry for case out of processing times! On the other hand you're eligible to submit an enquiry, so if you feel really bothered..do it! It won't hurt your case..it just might spur them to hasten up..💁😉

Hi.

No I didnt.  I was never there for more than 3 weeks at a time. They say atleast 6 months. I was there the longest 3 to 4 weeks at a time.

Is it possible to get a police clearance from a state in usa If I dont live there?.  I mean if I am  only a visitor not lasting more than 3 weeks every second to third month.

If it's possible I would like to do it. Let me know the process. You can inbox me.

I have possibility to travel to the USA. I can do it if need be to get the report .I never overstayed any visa.

Regardless of what u think is a specific time frame. You. Submitted evidence using a us address, so they want police clearance. You can submit your fingerprints to the state and get background check.

Hi Guys ,

For Health insurance and new policy .

Opening Enrollment for health insurance started 1 Nov .

For Green Card Holders Based on Vawa and working in United State , employer doesn't Offer any health insurance throw job .

How we Can get or buy individual private health insurance without using any public benftes such as Medicaid / low cost health insurance , etc .

Marketplace can find plan for affordable health insurance based on your income . But might it is not Solution because you can get for you low cost health insurance throw Marketplace which it considered government assistance or public benftes .

Even sometimes when you try to contact any other health insurance company it Could be the same Problem .

Buying from outside Marketplace will be expensive , and it still You Don't know either you Buying low cost insurance with any Government assistance or you paying for whole covarge without any Government assistance .

We all know the new policy ( using any public benftes will affect Naturaztion)

Or N400 will get denial or reject .

People will lose them chance to became citizen .. is it Better not having any health insurance at all ?

For Green Card Holders .

1-How we can buy private individual health insurance without using any public benftes or government assistance or low cost insurance ,etc ?

2-Will no having health insurance at all will affect you when you apply for Naturaztion ?

I know it's werried questions just we don't want getting any risk and regret in the End for taken wrong Decision.. Does anyone has an idea !

@sandranj;@stillwinning and others, kindly advise, my college Health Center provides therapy sessions by a certified psychologist at no cost. I submitted my evaluation a few months back, but I don't have money for therapy.
Do you think having the therapy sessions done through the college clinic will be okay?
Or I have to look for a professional outside the college environment. The session is every two weeks. I will appreciate all perspectives on this. Thank you all.

Nope You are fine. My eval and therapy sessions were through the University.

I have no in-depth knowledge of this..but I'm positive that VAWA petitioners aren't classified as "public charge" we're just not put into that category! I believe it's also been said here severally. But yeah I understand your need to thread carefully especially in this political dispensation..where they say one thing and mean another..etc LOL😀 it's always better safe than sorry!💁

Hey everyone! I am so happy I found this. First, congrats to all the ones who were approved and best of luck to the ones still waiting (me too!).

I  my 360 (battered spouse) was filed in oct 2018 and was advised that everything was forwarded to Vermont including my original 485 around march this year. that was filed through my i-130.

I don't want to go through my painful experience but God is great and now I am away.

I just filed my EAD extension back in May 2019 through NBC (sighh :( as I learned from this blog its not a good idea)  and still waiting. I hope that all my papers are transferred there. Last time I chatted with USCIS that they could not provide any status and I need to contact Vermont.

Absolutely no updates and all my apps went in complete silence. I appreciate all the input or support I get :) You guys seem to have more experience than me with this.

Hi VJers 😊

congrats to the approvals/progress in your applications!

I received an RFE on my pending AOS from NBC, they require my birth certificate.
I had already sent them my birth certificate twice but I guess it’s missing from my file.. question here is:

can I re-send the Same translation I used 3 years ago or it needs to be a new one?

thanks in advance 💕

I got the same RFE 3 weeks ago and I sent them the same BC I have always used.

I understand what you mean but i send my vawa application from abroad and not from USA. I used my foreign address.  And I am not in the USA.  But will try my best to see if I can get one.

Hey , quick update. they finally took some action on my case after 150 days. If you remember my case status was stuck at "we have mailed you your card for I-36. The status just updated to that "my name was updated". do you think that's a good news? 😅
