I have a question for everyone. When you initially sent your package the first time to Vermont, did you receive text messages or email saying they received your package ?

Am still waiting for my I-360 receipt. It was received September 8

i have a questions for whoever received Interview notice already. What do they ask you to bring to the interview? Trying to see if for everyone it's a generic letter or they customize it for each person depending on what they need.

Thanks.

You should have the request of documents in your Interview Notice! Do you have a copy?

my personal/humble advise: bring your I360 packet with your passport, Birth Certificate, Divorce Decree if you have it, DL or ID and whatever else is in the letter.

Yes, with the God's will- getting there.

So here is the timeline for Chicago office:

April 25, 2017- Filed VAWA application. Had 3 Prima facies extensions.

August 6, 2018- RFE for GMC & abuse evidence.

October, 2018- Received my RFE response

January 7, 2019- VAWA approved

January 11, 2019- Received EAD (C31).

February 1, 2019- Filed I485, I131. Included my medicals along with the application

March 11, 2019- case was transferred to another office.

September 25, 2019- Interview notice

The online status didn't change since March 11th.

So average i would say 8 months from the transfer date.

Will keep you posted how the interview goes.

Thank you very much indeed for sharing this timeline  with us.

She has an attorney..but you know the drill with these clueless attorneys..so she wants to switch things up a little bit and send stuff herself using the g-28 from the attorney..it will be as though the attorney is sending it out..only this time to the right place!💁😊

The G28 has to be signed by the attorney, how did she submit the G28 without her attorney signing the form?,Am I missing something here?

@sandranj, I wrote no lawful status, I485 and I360 pending. Will it be OK?

Also, did not include the receipt of with 485 or 360.

I can hold the mail mail if anything.

It will not be a problem because you wrote pending I-485,but to renew the EAD is mandatory to submit a copy of your current EAD.

Yes! She sent it out herself without attorney's g-28 that's one part, the part you missed was the one where we're asking if it will be ok to send stuff on our own with of course the attorney's g-28? The reason being that most of them don't want to send stuff to the right place..and since all correspondence requires the form..then we might as well put it together ourselves using the form given/signed by them of course!💁

If she sends form I-765 without the G28 signed by her attorney then USCIS will consider that her attorney is not representing her in the form I-765 anymore, and then she must put her address in the Form I-765, not her attorney's address but if she wants her attorney to continue representing her then her attorney has to submit a completed G28 ok.

Application Sent to the Wrong Filing Location

If you sent your application to the wrong filing location, we will forward your application to the correct Lockbox facility. If the application is not processed by a Lockbox facility, it is returned to the applicants.

If applicants or their representatives have specific cases where this is not happening, you should provide additional information to Lockboxsupport@uscis.dhs.gov and we will make any required corrections.

Maybe email the lock box support to see if they can do something since it was just sent out.

good to know, thank you for sharing!

Hi everyone!

Hope you guys are having a beautiful Sunday!

I have a question... when my I-360 was approved, I freaked out because my pending I-485 has my ex address... so I mailed to Vermont the AR-11 and attached the NOA of my I-360 approved. after 2 months of doing that, I got an update in  my case... "correspondence received and USCIS is reviewing it", I did not get any other update, this was back on May 2019.

I did not add a notarize letter on my change of address and the AR-11 does not have a space where you can input a EAC or MSC number, just your A- number.

If I should contact my congressman to know if my change of address is done and also I want to know where my file is located... how can I do that?

one more... if I schedule an infopass. is that to see an Officer in person?

thanks!!!!

Your A-number is sufficient! They are able to pull up all your cases! If you schedule an infopass, you will meet with an officer in person! Your congressman can help enquire if it was successful updated! Google the congressperson for your district..it will come up..they will guide you! I suggest you get to it so it's sorted now!👍

Not that I know of...they usually send you NOA/prima facie..that's how you know it was received! At least that was how it was for me!👍 for some people it takes longer..I received mine in two weeks! But it's not unusual for them to send much later...

I think depended to the office,  but it's from the field office. Mine looked like the one I was sent for the second interview with my ex.
