@sandranj  thanks for your input

I have tried to attach the rfe I received.

They are not asking for evidence that we resident together. I had visited my husband many times usa and I gave all flight tickets showing the dates  I visited him. Also the visa waiver and stamps which i used also had his primary address as place of residence while in usa.The last time he battered me I was taken to hospital by ambulance and his address was recorded on the medical journals as the place I resided. I already send those documents with the original vawa  application.

As you can see in the Rfe they are not asking for prove we resided together. They are asking for good faith marriage and  good moral character.   Somehow I know its easy to prove good faith marriage if we had lived together.  I will do my best to write and explain everything in my power.

What bothers me about the moral character is that they ask for clearance from each locality I have lived for atleast six months during past three years.  I have l ived in same place for 10 years and I already gave a police clearance. Do I order a new one or do I send the one I already send with an explanation. .

In usa the longest I lived there was 3 weeks.

But it was every second or third month I visited my abuser. Ohh God knows how it pains to even think of all I have endured.  I almost died in the hands of this man. I miscarried. It's hard to forget this things. They are deep rooted in my brain. I am afraid to ever love again.

As it Concerns goodfaith marriage I will just pour my heart to write all I can remember. The rest I leave to God. Only he can fight for me. My family will write all they know. And see where that gets me.

I can only imagine my dear! Don't worry too much take it from someone who had that very same RFE and was approved!!! God will fight and win your battle for you. Read my early response to your post again..it's very pertinent that you pour out your heart in an affidavit! It goes a long way. You will WIN!!! 🏆 yes submit the police clearance again and have friends and family write GMC on your behalf.🙏🙏

Did you send police clearance in state you visited with husband?

Hi.

No I didnt.  I was never there for more than 3 weeks at a time. They say atleast 6 months. I was there the longest 3 to 4 weeks at a time.

Is it possible to get a police clearance from a state in usa If I dont live there?.  I mean if I am  only a visitor not lasting more than 3 weeks every second to third month.

If it's possible I would like to do it. Let me know the process. You can inbox me.

I have possibility to travel to the USA. I can do it if need be to get the report .I never overstayed any visa.

My dear, I see you weren't asked to prove shared residence..that would have been more challenging since you lived apart! For the good faith marriage the things you mentioned is great. You could get more notarized affidavits from friends and family who knew of your relationship especially from the start to write about it. The strength of a well written affidavit can not be over-emphasised! Write a very detailed statement from courtship through when things got sour. Any more pictures, letters, interactions of any kind..can contribute to prove your case!  For the good moral character, police clearance from you home country would suffice. Also few affidavits from friends and family stating the kind of person you are and all of that good stuff..is awesome too! They should be notarized! I believe strongly you will make it!😊👍🙏

Thanks alot for your input . I will try my best to do that. Keep me in prayers. It's so hard.

Recently i recieved 2 forms from them that they accepted my i485 and i765 application, can someone remind me, if my i765 is under c31 that means i will get work permit after approved vawa or it will be earlier?

If it's under C31 that means your vawa will be approved before you get the EAD but if it's under i485 you will receive C9 before the i360 adjudication.😊👍

How do I know that my application is under C09 or C31.

It depends on the option you selected on the form. So you should enlighten us here more on what you filled out and the option selected.

@sandranj;@stillwinning and others, kindly advise, my college Health Center provides therapy sessions by a certified psychologist at no cost. I submitted my evaluation a few months back, but I don't have money for therapy.
Do you think having the therapy sessions done through the college clinic will be okay?
Or I have to look for a professional outside the college environment. The session is every two weeks. I will appreciate all perspectives on this. Thank you all.

Please use it! At no cost doesn't always translate to not been professional..it will do just fine! That's my opinion dear.😊👍

You’re on the right path. My RFE was also about good moral character and good faith marriage. All I did, I resubmitted what I sent first time and all additional bills that I received, bank statement and 4 more affidavits from friends and employer. For GMC I submitted clearance from back home (even though I haven’t visited back for over 10 years) and clearance from the state I resided. I wrote another affidavit, way more detailed than the 1st one, and with God’s help, prayers and patience was all worth it after all, today I have my green card :) and thank God for all, couldn’t have done it without him. 🙏

show him your I765 and tell him you are eligible to work. print some ead extension document from uscis and show it to him

I wonder if they return the fee for renewal if the processing is not necessary anymore due to the approval of I485. Not a biggie, was just curious as the $400 will come really handy now 😋
