Yes they extended the Prima facie base on the time they calculate they will be making a decision on your case, First prima facie was for a year, Second one 6 months, and it says on the second Prima Facie note if a decision is not expected before the expiration date a new Prima Facie will be sent for another 60 days.Β Β

Recent forum approval May 21st 2018... I am June 2018 waiting patiently..Β

my Vawa priority date is May 18, 2018. I received my first Prima facie in June 2018 valid for 1 year. Then I received a second prima facie in June of 2019 valid for 6 months and to expire in December. My second prima facie states that there is no guarantee that my case will be processed before then and that they will send another prima facie if my vawa case is not completed by the time my prima facie expires.Β

Yes if they haven't make a decision they will issueΒ a new Prima facie with less time. Third & forth ones are usually extended forΒ 60 days it depends on their processing time, first one 12 months, second one 6 months that a total of 18 months already (usually RFE and decisions are make around this times all depends just estimated.) third one 60 days thatΒ 20 months when theirΒ processing time chart is 18 - 23 months they estimate to make a decision withing their processing time frame (Not always happens like that)... I am personally on my second one and it will expired on December 2019, so i will request my third one my lawyer said it will be for 60 more days, base on previous case she filed.Β

I have also been waiting for renewal of my EAD for 5 months as well. My renewal applications priority date is May 2nd 2019. My EAD expired on Sept 25th 2019. A few weeks before it expired, the HR at my company contacted me and asked to present my renewed EAD. I submitted a copy of the 180 days automatic extension press released downloaded from the immigration website. They used that to extend me for 180 days and told me to bring my EAD immediately USCIS issues it. I also used it at the DMV. I was told at the DMV office that they can only extend it after it has expired. So i was told to bring my drivers licence for extension one day after it expires. My Drivers license Nd EAD expired sept 25, i went back to DMV on sept 26th and they did verification with uscis right infront of me and then extended my drivera license for 180days. That was my experience. Its been 5 months and 3 days and I am still waiting for my EAD to be renewed.Β

Thank you very much for you answer. Sounds very inspiring!

I was worrying about drivers license as well.

Hope it will be smooth.

This is so frustrating. All the time you need think about renewal everything πŸ™ˆ

Someone posted the link before..but hey you can google the congressman for your district. Give them a call or email them..they'll take it from there..the rest is easy. Probably ask you to fill out the privacy release form and send back to them..they'll get in touch with USCIS and give you feedback!πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘

Thank you very much for you answer!!!

Do not worry
Everything will be fine
I took this step in September
Sometimes I doubt the need for this issue
But here, in this forum, I saw and found good and good people
