@fedaniela when last did you renew your ead and what are the documents you sent to Vermont for renewal ,and how long did it take them to send you receipt !!!!

My Ead expires on May 2020, first was sent to Chicago lawyer mistake after 8 months NBC transfer to Vermont. Vermont took 3 weeks to received, process and sent my EAD.... Vermont can take up to 30 days or more to sent a receipt..  Documents I sent: Photocopy of my EAD, Copy of my I-485 receipt, 2 passport photo. I-765 form completed.

I want to ask if anyone lives in New Jersey and renews his or her drivers license while waiting for the renewal of their EAD,can I go with my vawa receipt,i485 receipt cause I don’t know when the receipt for the renewal will come out .,thanks

They usually renew your DL with your I-765 renewal receipt where is show the extension and pending renewal. Don't think I-360 or I-485 will do it for them, you can check your NJ DMV website and check the documents they required for non citizens applicant...

They accept only EAD also if you have receipt of renewal which says auto renewal for 180 days should be accepted.  I tried my self in several DMV drove long distance to suburbs but none of them accepted most of them are elderly who is trying to keep their jobs so they fallow what they fallow their daily usage routine of  customers who mostly are Citizens, they point out towards the bold letters on i797 this document does not give any immigration benefits. I had to drive uber so it was really needed i couldn't do standing work so i really needed but if its in yours then i suggest wait for the EAD and you will be good.

I want to fly within the country and my EAD expires before I travel waiting for my renewal to come. My state ID is still valid, but the “Temp. Visitor” Date on it is expired. Would that give me an issue for a domestic flight? What should I use as an ID? Thank you guys

Do you have your international passport? The one from your country..you can use it if it's still valid. Also sometimes they don't check the temp visitor indication on the licence..my experience though..remember any govt issued i.d card would suffice.👍
