there are people who never received PF but got approved. PF is a document which shows that all the necessary evidences are provided to USCIS but you can still receive RFE from them at any time during your petition. if one does not meet the requirement, USCIS ask for more documents within 2 - 3 months after submitting vawa petition

Godbless you.

how many Prima facie can anyone get ?
i have heard before that they can issue up to 4 prima facie only .. all of them valid for 180 days except the last one which is valid for only 60 days !
is that correct !?

yes. i have got 4 prima facie as of now.. in Dec 2019, it will be 2 years for me. my 4th one has a validity of 180 days as well

For your case especially..you need to write an in-depth affidavit from the moment you met your ex through when the horrors started and then when you split. ( This is incase you get an RFE) whatever further documents you submit, accompany it with the detailed affidavit! Sometimes your personal affidavit is your saving grace! Pour out your heart.👍

She told me during our 40mins chat she submitted a personal affidavit with her I-360. It was perfectly written too . Am just worried she needs to begin counseling and get a P.evaluations soon .

No ... I don’t have a attorney since my prior attorney was based on my marriage based petition

plus attorneys don’t really help or know much on abuse waivers ... they keep pushing divorce waiver ... which is going to be difficult for me as I fear retaliation from my abuser

I apologize I don’t mean to spam this thread , but I am a victim of DV just like you all are , hence I thought I can get some help here

If you don't trust your lawyer don't hire her to do your I-751. Find another that can do it.... I think you have enough evidence to submit I-751 with a waiver as a battered spouse.... No need to do the divorce waiver, divorce takes more time, more money....

I don't think that it will  be an issue for your VAWA case.  I took just a few session and was prescribed a medication and it was enough for them to approve my case.

Only if you feel like you need a therapy  you may seek for it.

It should not be.. 6 to 8 sessions are enough
