how to petition a spouse of a LPR (immigrant)

about the 30 mos period?? does it mean that w/in that 5 yrs time.. hubby could visit me as long as he wont exceed 6 mos... hubby doesnt need to complete 30 mos continous physical presence in US ryt?? tnx,, tnx

Ohhhhh ..... you are correct. I originally put the thumbs up with that question and then posted again about the filing soon, but it was so quick that they posted together and confused things. He does not have to complete 30 months continuous.

right now.. ill tell hubby to file the petition the moment he comes back to US and start counting 4 yrs! :whistle:

4 yrs is not that long ryt?? hehehe

-hubby went back to Philippines June 2005 - April 2006 (to finish schooling)

-Married last December 2006 in Philippines

-hubby went back to US April 3, 2006

-Filed I-130 June 2006

-Received NOA 1 July 2006

-Hubby visited me in Philippines December 2006 - January 2007

waiting in vain...
