How do i withdraw someone's sponsership??

Hello Guy's

 

                                    I Have once touched this topic before just need a refresher to see if its still possible to withdraw . The person I am sponsoring has not received there green card yet . But I called uscis yesterday and they told me it is not possible to withdraw does any one know if that's true. You know the people at the call center are not helpful sometimes lol,

An I-864 can be withdrawn by the sponsor up until AOS is approved. This is done via letter form and/or it can be done at the interview.

Thanks for the response where does the letter go to the office where the interview was held or NBC?

I would suggest sending it to whoever currently has it, which presumably is NBC (although if it's at a local filed office, you can see if they will accept mail directly - not all do).

 

As another option, it may be possible to schedule an appointment with the local field office and do it in person there. They don't generally accept walk-ins, so calling the main USCIS phone number to schedule it is normally required. It's their discretion to do an appointment or not.
