Hello

My wife arrived on a K1 visa just about 2 months ago and is filing for her adjustment of status, she also has a pending SSN application with the social security administration. We have waited a month now for the SSN to arrive due to manual verification process but haven't received or heard any useful information back when calling them. I have read this process could take months and we do not plan to wait any longer to file I-485, but are not sure how to fill out I-765. Currently we have checked no to 13.a stating she has not officially been issued a social security card and checked yes for 14 and 15 stating she would like to receive one. She made a note under additional information page regarding this item that she had applied with SSA prior to filing out form I-765 but has not received anything back and has no SSN to file, she also wrote the date that she applied with the SSA office. Do you guys have any advice for this situation? I am worried because I am not sure if this will cause problems in the future for her. Really appreciate everyone on here thank you in advance.

It will not cause any problems.

Her original card that you applied for in person will come in her maiden name (if it comes) as that's what you would have applied for it in to match her I94 and passport.

The one on the I765 will come in her married name as a REPLACEMENT (see the SSN instructions section on the I765 instructions) as you are filing all her AOS forms in her new married name and are providing photocopies of the MC as the name change document to do that.

If the in person applied for one comes after you apply for AOS great.

If not she'll get a married name corrected replacement card once her I765 is issued (a few days/week after).

There will rarely be any confusion because her SSA record contains both her parents' names for security.

You keep follow up your wife's status. U call the Embassy.  Coz as i know since trump elected as the president some application now is delayed.

Call the embassy for what exactly...? An embassy has absolutely nothing to do with an SSN or EAD.
