Hello everyone,

I received my NVC case number a couple days ago, and when I logged in there was no option of paying for my immigration fee. I checked and it says my visa is f24. I am over 21, but I did the CSPA calculations and it appears I should still qualify for the f2a visa. I filed my i-130 before I turned 21, so my case says I’m under 21. Today, I called the NVC, and they said they checked it already and I’m not CSPA eligible. I can however still email them and ask for another review.

I just wanna make sure I got the calculations right before sending an email.

Here are the dates:

DOB: April 19, 1997

Priority Date: 02/06/2018

Approval date: 08/01/2019

Visa became current: 07/01/2019.

i just want to double check and see if anyone agrees with me. My CSPA age should be 20 y and 9 or so months.

Lastly, has anyone emailed NVC to check if they were eligible? I’m just not sure what to tell them.

Yes, you are right. According to this calculator https://www.***removed***/cspa-calculator.do;jsessionid=4BF0392140C094DF81FA55A890A2B45D your CSPA age is 20 years 9 months 17 days.

If I were you, I'd hire a lawyer to make NVC to re-consider.

@TheKlaw

My sister is under f2A category also, I was worried also if she is going to age out because she is already 21 last Oct 30, her BOD is 10/30/1997. Her priority date is Jan, 22, 2018 and she got approved Sep 6, 2019. The visa become current July 1, 2019 on f2a category. I did CSPA calculation also that she still eligible but i wonder if she was. Did you ask for another CSPA review from NVC? Based on the CSPA calculator you are still eligible. Right now were still waiting for my sister welcome letter from NVC

@TheKlaw Hello any update on your case? Because my sister got CSPA protected faster than I thought. We call the NVC and they forwarded it to the supervisor and after couple days they said she is under CSPA protection. Hope everything is going well with your case. Good luck!
