Our case arrived at the NVC Center on Sept 23rd and MNL Case number still has not been issued.  When I call, they are telling me that they are processing cases they received from 30 days ago.  What is the average time between NVC receipt of case and issuance of MNL number.

We will be dealing with the Manila, PH Embassy

Thanks for your reply guys...    Nothing ya can do except wait..   AT this rate the NVC process is almost as long as the USCIS process.

You are just beginning. We just filed for AOS two weeks ago and that is an even longer waiting game.

I hear ya on the wait for the AOS...   But the K1 is stressful, as it keeps the couple from being together.  The fact that there is a 30 day backlog is just crazy...

They managed to keep up with USCIS for quite a while since USCIS got faster but seems like they had to give up. Same for the consulates and embassys.

Just have your fiancé start doing everything they need to do in Philippines. So when you get your MNL number you will be ready to go.

Have you reviewed the 5 steps as listed on the Manila website?  Has she scheduled CFO - GCP?  She can schedule and attend right now if you so desire

CENOMAR?

NBI?

As said it can be another month.   But once you have your MNL#  things can start to move very quickly!

Don't bother calling, yes you can get the MNL # that way but you actually need the NVC letter/email for the medical at St. Luke's .    Here is info to email NVC for your case file number:

https://www.visaconnection-philippines.com/nvc.html     Once you receive the reply from NVC with the case file number forward that email to your fiancee so she can print out copies.

Also start to check CEAC for READY status .. when you see READY status it is ROCK n ROLL  time!!
