I am applying for I-751, but the website shows fingerprint complete for I-485?!

Hi everyone I am feeling a bit freaked out and stressed. I filed I-751 a couple of months ago and the NEW USCIS website now shows that “my case was received”, with my case number paired with the correct form number (I-751).

Today I checked the OLD egov USCIS website just to see if there were any differences in updates. My correct case number is displayed with the message “Fingerprint review was completed” despite me not getting a biometric appointment, but then it was followed with “we are currently working on your I-485, petition to adjust status”, which was obviously not what I am applying for.

I rechecked the NEW website again and on that one it still says my I-751 is received, with no updates to fingerprint review.

Do you think this is merely a website data entry error? Should I call USCIS to correct it? I am so afraid that they put my application into a queue for I-485 by mistake which would cause unnecessary transfers or denial...

Called USCIS and the problem was fixed. Now the old website just shows that the receipt number is invalid while the new site displays the correct information about my application.
