1 for I485 written from the perspective of the immigrant.

1 for I864 written from the perspective of the sponsor.

1 for I765 written from the perspective of the immigrant.

1 for I131 written from the perspective of the immigrant.

Inputting something like this into the body of each I485, I765, I131 is helpful to show you are concurrently filing:

"Please note, I am also filing both the FORM I-765 – Application for Employment Authorization, Category (c)(9), “Adjustment Applicant under Section 245” and the FORM I-131 – Application for Travel Document (Advance Parole) concurrently with this FORM I-485. Those forms and separate supporting documents are following this initial package and have individual cover letters outlining what each application package includes."

Obviously changing the form numbers for whichever coverletter it is for.

That makes sense, why a cover letter for the I-864 tho? as its just a required document for the I-485

Because an I485 is filed by the immigrant while the I864 is filed by the sponsor as a supplement to the I485. Think of the coverletters as formal business letters outlining your application requesting consideration. A sponsor would be requesting USCIS's consideration for the I864, not the immigrant.

Oh we thought certified copies are preferred, there anything that can't be a photocopy?  besides the application forms themselves because the wet signatures.  If it doesn't make a difference, yeah we can just send in the photocopies of the marriage cert

Just never trust the actual USCIS website too much as it tends to leave out some things, like with the I-129F it didn't state a lot of the supporting documents that were needed in the end result package

What essential items are left out of the i129f instructions?

YMMV

The only thing for I485 that cannot be photocopied are criminal record documents if the immigrant has a criminal record. Check out the I485 instructions for what needs to be submitted if that applies to you.

All evidence submitted to the USCIS is legible photocopies.   Originals or certified copies are only required if SPECIFICALLY requested.   If originals are submitted that are not required,  the originals will be  destroyed.

The only wet signature required is the signature on the form(s) itself

What exactly is meant by "into the body of each"  doing that is amazing, and we will definately do it, just not sure what/where is meant by the body of each.

Also no criminal records here.

That helps a lot, we weren't 100% sure,  everyone here is being an amazing help

What about the CD's with the X-ray on it for her back from when she had her interview for the visa?  We know a copy of the medical summary/record needs to be sent in but what about this?

Medical was included with the " do not open" envelope, so nothing to send.  CD of xray is yours to use as a coaster.

oh sweet, we were going to send that, as we thought had to send that in, nice to know we don't need to, what about since not filling out I-693, it's best to send in the medical results we do have with each application correct?

If you read the  I693 instructions carefully,  the vaccinations section of I693 is not required if the ds3025 was marked complete AND was included with the visa medical report (in the envelope).  For some reason,  people include an additional copy of the ds3025 but it isn't required.

You need to read the form instructions.   Not all evidence required by the i485 is required for the i765 or by the i131.

In the Sept AOS filers thread someone made a point that it might be good to file a marriage certificate for each the I-485, I-131, and I-765, and giving a cover letter for each itself aswell.  I see this could be a good idea, but is it needed?  Nothing is stated about this on the checklist on VJ here.

When in doubt, defer to the USCIS form instructions rather than VJ guides.......
