Just wanted to post this here as I wasn't sure where I had found the discussion about being put in AP at the NVC.

https://www.cnn.com/2019/09/24/politics/travel-ban-31000/index.html

It seems to be for mostly middle eastern and some south american nations.

I'm not just highlighting a news article, because there was one paragraph in the article that I think would be useful to anyone finding themselves in this situation.

"Some visa applicants may be eligible for a State Department waiver or fall under one of the department's exceptions, he added. Ramotowski told lawmakers Tuesday that the department has issued more than 7,600 waivers."

I can't offer any insight into what process you have to use to do this though.

I'm sure someone on this forum does have that info, maybe they will share it here because it seems the amount of people who will be facing this will be fairly large.

Apologize if this is posted somewhere else, mods feel free to trash this if it is a duplicate.
