Actually Matt I did ask as a favor if you could remove it as it was upsetting people. You of course were reluctant but you respected my perspective and removed it in the interests of the community as a whole. If you are mad be mad at me for trying to play arbitrar and make everyone happy.

I was just trying to say that I am standing behind the mods on their action as they are doing the best job they can. Instead of insulting them publically just PM me and I will always be willing to talk. The mods them self are also human and always are open to changing something and learning if indeed a logical arguement is made regarding a moderation decision that anyone disagrees with. Bottom line, public attacks are not what the VJ community is about.

That VJ TOS rule is of course subjective and enforced using best judgement. I think you know what is and is not generally acceptable. Sometimes there is a grey area and not everyone will agree. People are not suspended unless they really really cross the line on that one.

lal & I rarely, if ever, agree on anything, but this is exactly what has been missing in OT for a long time. This is why Ewok gave her moderating duties...to help get rid of the racist b.s. that goes on around here. Can I just say in defense of Rich (Luckystrike) - anyone who's been on here long enough knows that he uses sarcasm and likes to be provocative but I don't think his intentions are malicious. I would just hate to see him second guess himself before posting how he normally posts, where his personality comes through. He adds dimensionality to the discussions.

Right or wrong to remove (the post), the real issue was the reaction to the post being removed. Simply a PM to me would have been fine and once I got it I would have either left it or un "invisibilized" the post. The moderators are certainly ok with things either way and don;t let their ego's get in the way. We all just want the best forum as possible. Next time again if you disagree with anything (even if I do it) just PM me .

As a note Lucky did PM me but then decided to attack the moderator who was only acting as they thought was best. The right course of action was to PM me and dispute it and wait for me to get online and reply (and make a call then). The member was notified immediately by the moderator and if they did not agree they again should PM me (they were directed to do so as well).
