Sent Aos Packet 5 weeks ago and no response

I sent the AoS packet 5 weeks ago with no response. The check has never been cashed and not notice or anything of the sort. I know they received it because I sent it with a signature confirmation and it was signed for 5 weeks ago. I am wondering if this is normal and if not, what are the next steps that I can take?

Send all your tracking information to lockboxsupport@uscis.dhs.gov  and they will trace it

What about for someone who did not use a tracking number>? This is not hypothetical BTW. We have a member that sent a VAWA packet from overseas with no tracking. So far the advice has been to wait a while longer but I am interested if you have anything you can add.

They get thousands of pieces of mail each day.  Without something to go on, it is a needle in a haystack
