You did not address the China pollution issue as it related to the “green” energy technology.  Of course that is only one example, we could also look at the cobalt mining in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Yes, I have addressed the issue of cobalt mining when it comes to electric vehicles etc. They have a direct pollution effect during the production but long term they are much better than gas vehicles as they don't produce harmful pollution. 

 

There are other ways to produce plastic than using oil. We need to keep all fossil fuels in the ground.

What about it? It's a huge difference in what has happened in the past and what is happening now. They are caused by widely different things.

Each year they are getting better and better at predicting what is going to happen. Back in the 70s some models didn't take into account other greenhouse gases such as methane etc.
