It's creamed spinach. And the steak was 8 oz, which is a perfectly appropriate size for someone like me, thanks. But I appreciate your comments.

I don't disagree that a women does not need to be polite, but it also means that anyone that thrusts themselves (or is thrust by others) into the public eye on a controversial topic is fair game for criticism.

   It looks like it was the plate itself that was really big. Made everything else look small.

That, and I think it's the angle, too. The lighting in there was kind of dim. We were the youngest in the restaurant at that time (I'm 34, he's almost 40) by about 20-25 years! One of the other diners asked to be moved because apparently we were upsetting him and his solo, 3-martini lunch.

   Just wait till the day you have to start bringing a couple of toddlers along. You can redefine the meaning of "upsetting" for him.
