Hi guys,

My I-130 was approved on July 31, 2019 and to date we have not heard anything from NVC. When my wife (petitioner) contacted both NVC and USCIS we can't seem to get a hold of where the file is we have only been told that there is a delay and they are working to clear it up. At one point they would even blame each other based on the turnaround times they would both quote. Now when we call NVC we can't even get an answer.

Has anyone had to wait this long to get their welcome letter?

My l- 130 got approved  in March  20 2019.it runs into 2 month without  hearing  from Nvc , so i decided  on calling  nvc told them of the date  that i had gotten  approved.

They ask me to take a picture  of my approval  notice  and uploaded  it to them .i did and in 4 days i received  my welcome letter from  them.

June 10, 2019.

My advice  is for you to do the same and see what happens.

Good luck!

Hi was this sent to nvcresearch? As we did that on 9/17 and still no word. Hoping to hear from them soon but when we called again this week we were just told to wait on the response.

Guess the waiting is getting to us

Go to nvc.state.gov/inquiry

This will take you to the section  where it ask for  your case number, petitioner , beneficiary  informations.

You can upload  your  approval  notice  here with  your questions.

Good luck!

Hi actually after about two weeks of calling NVC and USCIS we were told that NVC received it on Oct 15. So now it's just to get the case number. You should try CIS first to confirm they sent it and then NVC to see if it was rec'd.

Good luck!

Congratulations. So happy for u. I called uscis and was the customer care person she can't escalate an enquiry if the delay is not up to 90days. It's almost 90days anyways so will see how it goes.
