Ahhhh I’m so sorry 😐 it’s horrible!! Keep me posted !

I’m doing ok. My husband and I both have jobs but I’m really disappointed. After all those years I finally got the green card but still wasn’t able to use it for traveling. 😓

Oh no I’m sorry! It’s sucks so much! We both have our jobs too thank god but I wanted to go back to England to see my family as I haven’t been able to see my dad since we got married Feb 19’ 😢 I need to renew my passport too which will obviously be delayed but I want to wait until I have my GC until I send off my old passport just in case it gets lost (it has my K1 in). I just need them to approve me pleeeease 😭😭😭

Hi just checking in to see if you've heard anything new. I'm guessing probably not...was talking to someone last week who just got his green card (not a K1 -- was a student visa and work sponsored him to stay) in February and he was saying how grateful he is because he knows so many people now who were in the USA on visas who may have to leave, but of course no flights are going, so they are stuck and not sure what to do. We have a friend in Ireland doing a K1 who was about to have his interview the week of the shutdown and now nothing. I feel so bad for everyone stuck in limbo right now not knowing what will happen. And that you haven't been able to be home in over a year ugh. My husband went to Ireland in February and came back just as everything was beginning to shut down. His sister and her whole family ended up getting Coronovirus (they are all thankfully recovered) so no one has been able to see their dad as he is very ill with a lung disease and my husband is so worried about the next time he will be able to go home. We are hoping for September. His sister was supposed to come with her family here for vacation in June but obviously everything got canceled. Anyway, I'm blabbing but just thinking of you all.

Still waiting. I called last week and they said they sent a letter to say they received RFE and it’s still under review. It’s been over 60 days since I sent it now and 3 months to the day since our interview. I’m trying not to think about it too much as I think I will breakdown from the stress and worry. It’s so unfair especially with others getting their interviews waived, why can’t they just make a decision on mine :(

Thank you for the message I really appreciate it. Glad your hubs family are better.

I miss my family so much, I haven’t seen them in over a year now and it’s breaking me 💔

Hey everyone hope you’re all good. Still no update for me. I put an online request in almost 2 weeks ago now. It’s been 3.5 months since our interview. Trying hard not to think about it too much 😥

Hi everyone, hope everyone is doing good. I can see in informed mail that I have a letter from USCIS coming but it’s from the NYC office so I guess it’s either them saying they received our documents and it’s still processing or a denial 🥺

I hope it's not a denial but the approval.

So like @Nicola and Jordan we're stuck in limbo also.   March 2019 filer, called to interview in Dec 2019 Dallas but interview couldn't happen because they didn't have all my docs due to processing my Nov 2019 stolen AP/EAD card.    I know they got the missing docs in late December.

No progress since.  While most commentators, including our lawyer expected the interview re-schedule in weeks, nothing happened in Jan, Feb or early March. Calls to the service center, case status emails etc all just resulted in contradicting unhelpful info which could be summarised as "wait 2 more weeks".  I started chasing again in late May and its the same behaviour.  Tier 2 support were not even able to tell me if the Dallas office had started doing face to face meetings again, suggested I go look online myself!!   So i can't even raise an InfoPass to ask a human in Dallas if they have lost the file, recorded me as a no-show interview or what?   We've also contacted the local congresswoman for help, waiting for their input.  Our lawyer hasn't been very knowledgable or proactive.

The EAD and AP will expire in October 2020.  Im not working so I can manage to wait for the GC without the EAD.  But I would like to be able to travel back to Ireland when travel resumes so I suppose I should start reapplying for the AP now.   Already paid fees 3 times due to stolen AP card.  Now will need to pay a 4th time.   And then they might issue the GC rendering the new AP redundant.   Frustrating.

If you are a March 2019 still waiting post here just so we know there are others in the same boat.

The form instructions indicate your next I-131 filing should be free: https://www.uscis.gov/system/files_force/files/form/i-131instr.pdf "you may file Form I-131 together with your Form I-485, or you may submit Form I-131 at a later date. If you file Form I-131 separately, you must also submit a copy of your Form I-797, Notice of Action, receipt as evidence that you filed and paid the fee for Form I-485 required on or after July 30, 2007." My AOS is still pending (I'm a December 2017 filer) and my I-765 and I-131 filings for renewal were free. I'm about to file them again for my 2nd renewal as my EAD and standalone AP are to expire in September 2020.

It was just a letter saying they are still processing and delays because of Covid :(

At least you got a letter.   Tier 2 advised me to write directly to the Dallas office in Feb.  They confirmed receipt of the letter in mid-Feb  but no response.   And no note in my file for Tier 2 to say that it had been received.

Have you not interviewed yet?
I interviewed back in Feb but got an RFE. I was hoping the letter would confirm that they received it but it’s just a standard copy and paste and the status is the same as the one online. My EAD runs out August 14th I think I’m going to have to just renew it because I can’t see anything moving with my case before then

Just sent off for my EAD renewal. Didn’t think I would need to do this and held off but it runs out August 14th so I have no choice now. Secretly hoping it will bump them into doing my greencard but not holding my breath

Hey fellow March 2019 filers! Just wanted to check back in to VJ since it's been a while and let people know where we're at, in case it's a comfort to anyone.

(Our filing office is the Washington DC one btw, which is actually located in northern Virginia)

So we were one of those unfortunate couples who had their interview scheduled just a few days after everything at USCIS completely shut down (scheduled for March 23), and since that one was cancelled, the case status has remained at "ready to be scheduled for an interview" for the last few months. I've got an EAD/AP combo card that is going to expire in October 2020, and after months of waiting, I've finally decided to go ahead and apply for a renewal, since who knows when that GC interview will actually happen. At this point, I'd be content to have it scheduled for February 2021, because then we'll already have been married 2 years and won't need to get the conditional GC.

Anyway, that's where we're at. Anybody else planning to do the EAD renewal?

Hey. I’ve sent off for my renewal as it runs out August 14th. We are still stuck on interview completed and case must be reviewed and not getting any answers from anyone so I think we have slipped into the black hole.
