Yeah I just read that. I’m so sorry 😭😭

It’s ok just weird as we gave all the original documents that we have been using this whole process from K1 until now to them at the interview but they want more. It’s an easy fix I hope!

This was something that we provided within the last few days before the interview. I just happened to watch a YouTube video on the “dropped charges” topic. It is an easy fix.  I Would recommend getting two certified documents and send them one. That will erase any doubt that they have.

Ok thank you that makes me feel better. I would have got more paperwork before if I had known, I wish I had looked into it more before but because we had been ok up until this point with the court documents that we did have we thought we would be ok but you live and learn! I’ve emailed the court, it’s in Georgia and we are in NYC unfortunately so can’t just drop in but i will call on Monday too.

Can I just ask, did you have to go in person to get the documents? I’m in NYC and the courthouse is in Georgia. I’m going to call them first think tomorrow and hope they can do it via phone/fax then post them to me 🙏🏼🤞🏼

I live nearby so it was not an issue. You should be able to get them mailed to you with much issue.

Just spoke to them and they are mailing it out today!

Just re-read the RFE and it says to hand deliver ON April 3rd, stupid question but does this mean I can't do it any earlier? I have to wait a whole month? Not sure if it's like another appointment, I thought it would be a case of drop and go. Also does my Husband have to (USC) have to come with me? We only have one shot to do this so I want to get it right.

I would request an infopass and see if you can deliver earlier. Bring your spouse just in case.

Yikes -- I agree. I would try to call and at least ask someone. My fingers are tightly crossed for you @Nicola and Jordan!!

Any update?

Crazy times people. I hope you are all safe and staying INSIDE. My husband has a friend back in Ireland who has been going through the K1 process and he had his interview scheduled last week and they canceled. So now who knows when it will be rescheduled or what will happen. I feel for him. This is insane!
