I think I prepared our AOS interview package. Please correct me if I skipped something!

 

• Certification of marriage
• Certification of religious marriage
• Copy of the religious wedding ceremony plan and party
• Copy of the religious wedding guest book
• Copy of my birth certificate
• Copy of my husband's Naturalization paper and US passport
• Copy of my Case and Termination of turn of duty from Police (home country)
• Copy of the renters insurance bill with both of our names
• Copy of the electricity bill with both of our names
• Copy of the Gas utility bill with both of our names
• Copy of the rental lease with both of our names
• Copy of our 2 new cars car registration and contract with both of our names
• Copy of the last 3 months Bank Statements with both of our names
• Copy of the last 3 months Verizon talk activity with both of our names 
• Copy of my last 3 months Paystubs
• Copy of my husband's last 3 months Paystubs
• Copy of my boss's recommondation letter
• Copy of 3 of our friend's and 1 copy of our Pastor's Support for a Bona Fide Marriage letter
• Copy of the last year's Tax return with both of our names
• Letter to our address with both of our names of on it
• Wedding invitation with both of our names on it
• Plus about a 100 photos of our wedding and about a 100 photos about our relationship through the last 2 years

That looks like a good list to me! Only other thing I can think of is benefit summaries (health insurance, 401ks, life insurance) that have you guys listed as each other’s beneficiaries. Also flight and hotel bookings if you have taken any trips together over the last couple of years maybe?

Yeah, I forgot to write down the Hotel Reservations, but it’s in the list 😃 and I’m on his 401(k) as well 👌🏻

Then I think you’re all set, it looks like a pretty comprehensive list!! We have pretty much the same evidence as you. 
 

quick question - I saw you listed a police certificate from your home country, is that something we have to bring? I don’t remember seeing that anywhere in the AOS instructions

If you served Military or worked at Police in your home country than yeah you should bring some paperwork about it. On the I-485 at the “yes” and “no” questions there is I think 2 questions about it. So I bring my paperwork just in case. It won’t hurt .

At my medical right now. A tip is to find out (if you have health insurance) if your insurance would cover a blood test for tb. Uscis does not accept skin tests for tb and had i known i would have at least checked w my insurance to see if they cover the test.

 

Here's a breakdown of my cost 

 

Physical exam: $160

Venipuncture (to draw the blood): $16

Urinalysis: $10

TB: $190

RBR (syphilis): $40

Gonorrhea: $70

Specimen handling: $16

 

Total: $502

 

He said to come back in a few days for the paperwork to be completed. He'll give me a waiver for the vaccines I don't need.

Good news for us as well. Interview Scheduled as of January 13th. We are in San Francisco so I wasn't even expecting to hear from them until late June. 

We have a trip planned to Thailand for my cousin's wedding at the end of may so hopefully everything is done well before then. 

I literally was on here yesterday to check up on how things are going, its been a few months, today my wife messages me and asked me if I was sitting down. XD.
