For our K-1 visa AOS, we're planning on sending our files quickly after our wedding in October once we have our marriage certificate. Can someone please review our cover letter and what we're including to make sure we're not missing anything?

Are black and white copies OK, or do we need color?

Also I noticed this for I-485 and I-864: On or after Oct. 15, we will accept only an updated edition that will be linked to this page.

We were planning on sending after October 15. Can you point us to what will change?

Are you not attaching the required documentation for the i131 and i765?

Required is legible photocopies,  nowhere does it say legible color copies

Final affidavit form has not yet been published

That's a good question. For I-131, do we need to submit an additional copy of passport biographical page, 2 additional passport photos, K-1 visa stamp for current status? For I-765, do we need to submit an additional copy of K-1 visa stamp from passport?

What other evidence are we missing?

We appreciate the help!

Each application needs to stand alone.   You cannot rely on evidence submitted with the i485 to support the other applications.

Follow the instructions literally and independently.

I've updated this slightly. Are separate G-1145's needed for I-765 and I-131?

For the I-485 marriage certificate, looks like just a copy is needed, not certified? I see some people with certified but that doesn't look necessary by the instructions.

All evidence submitted to the uscis is to be legible photocopies of original documents.  An original or certified original is only submitted if SPECIFICALLY requested

YMMV
