Is NOA2 or RFE sent via regular mail or do you have to sign to receive it?

Just curious on how I am to receive it because the case status still says "case was received" and it is over 95 days already (I read that the tracker is not reliable at times). I just recently got home from vacation and so far there's no RFE or NOA2 in my mail box. I am getting a bit paranoid that maybe somehow I missed the delivery where I have to sign it?
