K1 Interview

Hello! Just wondering if it's necessary to send a complete copy of my petition & supporting documents to my fiancee. She will be applying for the K1 at the Embassy in Manila. Will she be asked to show a copy of my petition & supporting documents at the time of her interview?

Kyd, she will not be asked to show a copy of petition or documents, but it is a good idea to send a copy incase more documents are required (or lost ) by the embassy at some point in the process then she will already have them there in philippines, saving time of u sending them to her then her sending them to Manila. But u will be sending her the Originals of some documents at some point unless u yourself are attending the interview with her in Manila. Atleast make the copy of the petition and certain documents then keep for yourself and if u need send something they request or lose u have it.
