can someone advice on what to do next, i got approved of my i601 august 19th, and yet the Uscis are yet to send notification to my Embassy so as to 

get letter of instructions, is anyone in the same situation, what should i do to get this done quick.

Did the embassy get the notification from USCIS.if so how long Or did you have to email embassy?

it takes about 7 weeks from the 1601 approval to get the embassy instruction letter and i was was ask to just get new medical and new police report and walk in anyday that i have all document ready for my 2nd interview which i did and i got my visa approved i already paid for my green card and will be back home nextweek hopefully

Thanks for the reply .how did the embassy contact you with the instructions.was it by email? And also was the 2nd interview more of just showing your documents and presence?Did you have to re-submit your Ds -260 Again before the 2nd interview?

yes, the embassy sent me the instruction mail and yes i updated my ds260, and the interview was very much oat taking, cus the consular only ask one question, which work my co sponsor do. and i answer. that is all.

Congrats..am not sure if I should wait to hear from the consular before I update my DS-260.was the instruction by MAIL or E-MAIL?

YOU dont have to wait for any instruction letter , just log back in with your case number and update your ds260, it will be open by now if you got approved and again if it not up to a yea you are good to go.

Ok.but after you update the ds260..how did the embassy contact you to tell u what u need to bring for 2nd interview..was it by phone, mail or E-mail?

Since November 1st.i emailed them they sd they haven’t received it.what am asking u is how did they contact you when they received your approval from USCIS?

JUST DONT STRESS THEY WILL GET TO YOU , THEY MAIL ME AFTER 7 WEEKS OF APPROVAL SO I WILL ADVICE YOU TO RELAX AND STAY POSITIVE , I CAN FEEL YOU ANXIOUSNESS

On the instructions where you asked to provide an affidavit of support? Did they ask for supporting documents for I-864

yes, you have to provide new one, and if not enough get a joint sponsor
