F2A

priority date : July 11, 2021

Has anyone with a priority date before mine received an interview letter ?

Since I am current for the June update in the Visa Bulletin, I would like to know if I can expect to receive an interview letter in June or if it typically takes longer.

It will take longer for Montreal. Have a read of the thread above, lots of timelines in there. This is the most recent post (March) from somebody that was given an IL to give you an idea -

Good luck.

Thanks for sharing. It seems like the embassy is lagging behind . Thanks for your response.

My case was granted expeditious processing at the Montreal Consulate a little over 2 weeks ago and I was wondering what the timeline will be to get a IL. Would appreciate if anyone had went through the same process to share their experience.

More details about my case:

Visa Type: F2B

Priority Date: 11/2015 (Current)

DQ: 12/2020

Status in CEAC: READY

Any input would be really appreciated!

Did you get the IL @Kaolity

Did you get the IL? My pd is July 2021. I haven’t received IL yet

Your PD only became current 5 days ago, so you've only just been added to the line for an interview, it'll be a while yet.

Good luck.

I'm in the F2A category with a DQ date of December 5, 2022, and a priority date of July 7, 2021 (Embassy Montreal). Today, I received an email from NVC asking me to update my Canadian Police Certificate for my U.S. Visa application. Is this a positive sign? And typically, how long after this email will I receive an interview?

same here. I am F11 category and received an email today from NVC asking for updated Police certificate. My DQ date is Dec 2022. Is this a sign that interview is coming?

Do we need to do anything? Cause I already submitted the correct Canadian Police Certificate and I got approved and documentary qualified.
