For Passport Photo: Two (2) color passport-size photographs of each person applying for a visa (5 cm x 5 cm, or 2 inch x 2 inch). Please review https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/photos.html
Photos should not be older than 6 months, generally all passport photo service stores have date and stamp which they can put in back of photo without any extra charge. I had it stamped to be on safe side.

Also regarding uploading your updated documents: upload it after your interview gets scheduled.

upload it going to your case login on CEAC with Case number and invoice number and go to submit documents section and upload documents there. You will need to select each document type and upload it accordingly.

I received my passport back in 2 days.

I had a quick question. I'm trying to register on the visa appointment service website but it's asking me about country of permanent residence? Is this referring to the country you currently live in or is this the country of which you're a citizen? I'm not sure if i'm the only one who is confused by this. Any help would be appreciated.

@hasibqa It is the country of your current residence (Canada). Next to the dropdown box there is a small (!). If you hover over that, you will see that it says something like "your current country of work visa.." etc.

I thought so too but didn't want to get anything wrong because of that ominous warning on the front saying it has to exactly match the DS-260. Thanks

I just wanted to get your input on my F2B application. I've been DQed, awaiting an interview in Montreal, since December 2020. Is it normal that I've been waiting this long with still no updates?

@F2B-DQ_dec20 ur priority date is not current. 
so till that don’t become current, they won’t schedule ur interview.

Oh! I wasn't aware of the differences between the two tables here https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/legal/visa-law0/visa-bulletin/2022/visa-bulletin-for-september-2022.html.

 

I always went by the second table which says Jan 2017 for F2B. But I guess for interviews it's the first table which is still at Sep 2015, is that correct?

How is it normal that the F2B final action priority date hasn't moved since August 2021?? Does anyone know what's happening there?

@F2B-DQ_dec20 the bottom one is basically when they send invitation letter to submit documents. 
and top one is the actual current priority date. 
 

hope the dates will start moving soon and you should get ur interview call.
