I have received my IL yesterday, the interview is on 21st April 2022

My DQ is March 2020, and I submitted all my documents in 2019.

I have a few doubts:
  1. Get a new Police certificate (Done)
  2. Should I submit a new Police Certificate on the CEAC portal?
  3. Submit new I-864 ( With only 2021 return or 2019, 2020, and 2021?)
  4. Shal I submit all the documents to their respective option box in the CEAC or in OTHER Documents(As additional documents)
  5. On the NVC page when I select my consulate location i.e. Montreal, I see that I have to register my interview when I try to register I get an error that my interview isn't scheduled yet (Is that mandatory step?)

Why you want to register your interview on NVC, as your case transferred to Montreal consulate?

Your interview is scheduled on April 21, 2022, then why you want to register it?

This is the requirement as per Montreal consulate , that we have to register the interview after we receive the interview letter

I would at least take the physical copies of the tax returns for all 3 years. My interviewer personally asked me for all 3. Also get a new police report if yours has expired. I saw a bunch of people at the consulate who had done their medical the day before in Montreal and their reports were not back yet. They were refused the visa until medical results were received. So get your medical done on time. Don't miss any  documents because it will delay you.

The passport will be mailed back to you in 5-7 business days according to my experience.

All the best to all of you. I know it's a very draining process.

@aaz during interview they asked for last three years tax return (1040) or tax transcript?

You had tax return of last three years for your interview or tax transcript ?
