HI ,

I live in Montreal and waiting for my IL (DQ March 2020)

I have to re-apply my Canadian PCC and I have tried contacted RCMP. They did not reply to my email request.

Can anyone suggest for how to apply for Police Certificate in Montreal?

Thanks

Anyone knows why Montreal issued so few F2A visas compared to other categories?

In February 2022, only 3 F2A, but 38 F3 and 39 F4…

IMHO, I would ignore Feb. stats and wait for Mar. stats because there were massive IL sent on Feb. (Working on DQ cases from Nov. 2019 to Feb. 2020, as per consulate’s operation update). Mar. stats should be more like a representative for future trend.

As for F3 & F4, they’re the relatives of US citizens. The Montreal Post prioritize their cases over green card ones, I guess.

I get them initially prioritizing spouses of us citizens, but then to prioritize that many F3/F4 over F2As makes no sense, unless PD and DQ were that aligned

Exactly! Green card holders’ cases got delayed again and again.

Anyways, I have no problem with the point that they prioritized spouses/ fiancé of U.S. citizens. Now that the backlog of these was cleared, the Post should process accordingly based on category priority.

@204May I ask where can we check those stats?

yeah, I thought they called F1 (1st preference), F2 (2nd preference), F3 (3rd preference)...for a reason; but it looks like it's not LOL

And I actually went back to check the numbers for pre-pandemic periods, not a lot of F2A were issued either. I didn't realize we are that low priority...We are doomed LOL
