F2A category - Montreal interview pending

I just checked my status and I’m seeing the same message above, which is different from a couple days ago when I last checked. However, my DQ date is in May 2021 (F2A) so I’m still far away in the queue. I’m leaning towards this being a bug, especially since the fiscal year started only a few months ago in October didn’t it?

I check CEAC daily and found it changed to attached this morning. 
 

My PD is Jun. 16, 2015; DQ: Aug. 28, 2020; Category: F2B; Montreal Consulate.

This notice would align with the timing for the next release of scheduled interviews for April.  Last year, such were released on March 12, and they generally follow the same the following year.  Here’s hoping for all of you with that type of notice.

I hope this is good news.  Montreal is now current with visas for spouses of US citizens, as of last month, so perhaps this creates more interview slots to now focus on us F visa groups.

I saw the Montreal Post hired a new Visa Assistant and the hiring post was taken off their hiring website on Feb. 18, 2022. Hopefully the Post is capable of interviewing more people each month.

Not sure what to make out of it. It is very confusing. To summarize:

 

(1) People with DQ till atleast May 2021 getting technical glitch on their CEAC account which apparently means that the cases are getting transferred to consulate.

(2) Someone in the telegram group called NVC and they told them that there is nothing changed.

(3) Montreal updates on their website that they are processing cases till Feb 2020
