Hi everyone new to VJ. For the latest list I just want to understand the acronyms better what is IL? Also my interview location is also Montreal and just completing the documents to NVC and hopefully complete it by end of Feb. For the list as well what is the priority date of each? Looks like the wait is more than a year, is this for people already current for Table A Visa bulletin? I am quite confused as my priority date is 2014 but current for Table B(dates of filing) Will I only get interview once my PD gets current in Table A plus the 1-2 year wait? Thank you and sorry for all the questions

At the currently pace it takes about 3 years from I-130 approval to interview, but hoping that they will speed up.

@Mitch22 Your documents will get reviewed by NVC and they will give you a "Documentarily Qualified (DQ)" date. IL is (Interview letter). Current wait time for interview at US Consulate Montreal (from DQ to IL) is noted here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1phSTiwuIBzBBDGDSwBTgA6iwPt6vhWgd_JQWlHoj7vE/edit?usp=sharing

I know you can request an expedite from NVC, but as our cases are finalized with NVC is there a way to request an expedite of the interview from the embassy itself? Has anyone tried this?
