A relative recently got their interview notification (IR5).  We are preparing documents to be taken to the interview.

For the affidavit of support, is only the I-864 required, or both I-864 and I-864A at the interview?  Petitioner did not make enough money to provide support, but petitioner's spouse signed I-864A as a co-sponsor/joint sponsor.

IR5 is a visa for parents currently living outside the US.. and the documents you are asking about are required to be sent to the NVC prior to the interview. The beneficiary must take to the interview a copy of all documents sent to the NVC. If both the I864 and I864a were submitted to the NVC then both must be carried to the interview
