If somebody after marriage lives only for two days in hotel then can we consider that as lived together for 2 days?

 

Entered in hotel in evening and left next day. But dates change during night then can we consider it two days or just one day?

Generally, a 24 hour period is 1 day.

I don't know if I'd consider it "living together"----the two of you stayed in a hotel temporarily (less than 48 hours).  Living together as a married couple generally means shared bills, shared residence, etc.

Living together is not staying at a hotel.   

 

You will need to fill out out profile and timeline if you want realistic answers.

No, staying at a hotel is not living together.  Living together is buying or renting a place and to establish residency.

You do not have to live together to file for a spouse.  But it does help to prove a bona fide marriage.

Living together is being in the same home for weeks/ months, having the same mailing address, sharing bills etc.  So not one night in a hotel.
However, you do not need to live together to apply for a spousal visa, you just need to be legally marry and have met, which you have by being in the same hotel for a night (presumably in the same room, and have photos of you together).

thanx for responses.. actually my issue is that my wife went back to usa just after 2 days after marriage. circumstances didnt allow us to live in home in india. it my marriage was last year in oct and since that time we couldnt get chance to meet. we stayed in hotel after marriage for a night only. my confusion is whether can we use that hotel stay to write in i-130 that we lived together for that day?

 

if can't write that night as lived together then can i explain why couldn't we lived together after marriage on last pages of i-130? can i mention hotel stay in that explanation?

kindly help me to compile my i-130 package as i am doing this without attorney as having some problems.

 

it would be a great help if i may get a already approved i-130 file sample.
