Hi All,

I am using Jame's NVC tips and am sending DS-230 form for my wife today and would like someone who has gone through CASA with CR1 case to confirm if i am sending all the documents (as the form got generated this Monday and i don't have copy of that):

1. DS-230 Part I signed and Part II unnsigned.

2. Original Marriage certificate with translation (notorized).

3. Original Birth Certificate for her and translation (notorized).

4. Police records. both with translations (notorized).

4.1 Original Fiche Anthropometrique

4.2 Original Casier Judiciaire

5. Three (3) Photographs (I did not see anywhere about photos though)

There is no Divorce papers for her (as she was never married before) and no Military Records (as she was never in Military).

Please confirm if these are all what i need to send. Thanks.

Salam Talat,

I have filed for the CR1. The only things that I was made aware that needed to be sent is the certified birth certificate with translation, part I of the DS230 (and the unsigned part II) as well as the police certificates with translations. Where did you read that they need to be notarized? I am assuming that the tax stamp that they have put on all their documents will be proof enough that they are indeed official. I also don't think that photographs are requested at this time either.

Best of luck to you. Please keep me posted as you learn also. I need all the help I can get. I too am having difficulty finding people who have went for the CR1 with spouses from Morocco.

You don't need to send photograph's because your wife will need to bring 2 with her to her interview.
