    I didn't doubt you. God knows, there are few who have your level of "experience" with the TOS.

 

   I was just saying I take the discussion stuff with a grain of salt. As you said, you get a couple of new mods and it all could change, and you have nothing to refer back to.

I can easily see how you took it that way, and I'm sure it applies in certain situations.  Not knowing the situation of the ex wife/real mother,  I didn't mean it the way it came across.

 

My wife is a step mom.  And unfortunately, she felt like a newcomer/intruder for far too long.  Not because of me nor my children, but her mindset.  Fortunately, time has changed that, but if I can ever help anyone, especially a step-mother-to-be, not to feel that way going into a relationship, I would be glad to.

 

Perhaps a better way to have worded it is...

"I'm not a step parent, just a new parent that came along after the birth of my child", or similar.

Yes, we supped with a high level mod once upon a midnight drear.   And we have supped a few times hence.  The fack that you cannot even get my simple acronym moniker korek not only hurts deeply, but makes me inclined to think that I have not made a significant impact on you.  My apparent worthlessness may drive me to the depths of despair.   Or at least to the bottom of this bottle of vodka.

LOL I do have a little rap sheet with the tOS

 

It took a lot of patience and training for me to get our Mod team to its current level of efficiency, all bad jokes aside, they do a pretty decent job nowadays 

 

For you newbies, I can remember the days they assigned a new mod that knew none of us, and they would come in nightly and ban and delete everything in sight

It is indeed me! My old one was my cat Tibbs, who passed away a while ago. It was nice to be reminded of him every time I posted, until it wasn't. So I used a pic that I found when I was looking for a new hairstyle (getting bored with current length) and it looked so much like my hair color and texture (very straight) I picked it. I don't usually walk around with my face obscured though!
