Dear members,

We have submitted our case in VA and it was routed to Texas center and received its acknowledgement on 6th May 2019. Our attorney had asked for my previous marriage annulment document, so I submitted my "NADRA Divorce Certificate" from previous marriage.

My question is this good enough or other documents if any,  have to be shared with NVC in the future? If any, what other documents NVC or US Embassy in Pakistan requires?

Thanks

Was your prior marriage to a Pakistani?  If so  the certificate from your Union Council is enough through NVC but the embassy "may" require the original decree on rupee paper and copies of the notices sent.

Who is the petitioner and who is the beneficiary?

Then as far as I know you should be fine. At NVC you’ll submit your divorce decree and marriage certificate again plus the other documents required at NVC such as police report, I864, beneficiary’s birth certificate, etc. USCIS website should have a list of documents needed for NVC + documents required by country

Well this might not be enough. The NADRA as a department could be secondary evidence for USCIS,NVC and US Embassy ISL.

You would need primary evidence. It also depends on your sect shia or sunni.

Contect me if you need specific document info.

Regards:

Aamir
