Hey one more question is there an Invoice number to pay the Visa fee?

You pay that the day of the interview.

For the interview can I bring my 1040 and w2 or does It has to be a transcript necessarily?

Surprising you would have those if doing DCF/legally residing in Peru......

I think my question was not well formulated. My wife is having her interview and we received an email saying she has to bring my prior years transcript. I requested the irs to mail the transcripts to my address in the US about a month ago and have not received yet. So I was wondering if instead of those transcripts she could bring my w2s and 1040s  since I do have those handy and her interview is the next 10 days.

Go online and download the tax transcripts.   They are easier for the CO to read than a return.

Hi! We are doing DCF here in LIMA also. We got the same letter with instructions to go to usvisa-info.com to schedule interview, but wife's case number keeps saying "not ready for interview" Ceac site says it is ready, and she already filled out DCA260, but how to schedule interview?

The supporting documents like my affidavit of finacial support, where to bring those? what do we do? Seems like USCIS site is not scheduling appointments?

Feeling lost, nobody is answering any emails or calls..how do I reach consul in Lima again, we can't seem to schedule appointment at all..

You have to keep trying to schedule your appoinment the same thing happened to me. Its better if you try at night time. About the supporting documents you need to bring them to the interview. If you want to get in touch with the IV unit I recommend you email them at limaiv@state.gov and write urgent!!! As the the subject in order to get a faster reply

@EugeneInSF I also suggest emailing them. They usually reply in 1-3 business days. That is really weird that you are getting that error message. Usually all you need to schedule the appointment is the DS-260 number and your case number.

I have heard on this forum and also on https://pe.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/ that the Peru US Embassy will not be accepting immigrant visa appointments after Jan 31, 2020.

The supporting documents like the Affidavit of Support and Antecedentes Penales etc you will turn in on the day of your interview.

My advice is to email limaiv@state.gov (and write urgent!!!) like @vaalp90 said and explain that you are trying to schedule your embassy appointment and you keep getting that error message. I'd send a screen capture of what you're seeing. I really hope they help you soon!

what about scheduling the interview via ais.usvisa-info.com/en-pe/iv should I continue to pursue this, it keeps giving same error message

or is there any other way to schedule that interview?

This happened to us in Juarez.  I got ahold of someone at the consulate and they fixed it.  I called the US number for the consulate if I remember correctly
