I am the U.S. citizen petitioner and I'm filling out the forms for my wife.

Let me explain our situation. We live with our parents in the same house. I am currently unemployed. My financial won't be enough to support so my dad will be the co-sponsor.

Are we supposed to fill out the regular I-864 or I-864A and how many? I fill out one and my dad fill outs another one?

In your case the original sponsor (ie. You) will file an I864.

Your income will go in Part 6 Qu 7.

Dad's individual income will go in 8, 9 and 10. So from his individual earnings statement if he filed taxes as married filing jointly (and not your Dad and Mom's income combined on their joint tax return) or from his evidence of current individual income.

Your combined income in 20.

Dad will file an i864a as your co-sponsor/household member.
