Try asking in the Russia,  Ukraine,  Belarus regional forum

Immigration Officers can ask any type of question.  There are question examples you can search online to help you feel more confident, but don't solely rely on it.  Just be prepared for anything.

In Kiev, nothing is allowed inside the embassy, is there anywhere sage we can leave our things before entering the embassy ? Cell phones ? Expensive things. Thanks.

I have no clue about the embassy there.  Usually there is information on their direct website.  Maybe reach out to the Kiev community here.
