Hello all,

My fiance and I are going to file the I-129F in October and I was wondering what you all send with the document itself. I have seen multiple variations of what people have sent with the petition and not all of them are the same. It seems as if people include extra documentation as well. Can you please compile a list of everything you sent with the I-129F when filing as well as the order in which they were placed in the envelope? Can we use a 9x12 envelope or do we have to fold everything into a standard sized envelope? Also does anyone know if sending extra information will be beneficial to our case or just cause issues? Below I will include a list of everything I believe we should send with it and I would appreciate if someone made corrections to the list if something is wrong! If he lives in Minnesota where should we file? I've been told Dallas and I have been told Chicago, which one is it?. In addition, is it worth it to file the G-1145, Notification of Acceptance of Application/Petition? I tried to underline any questions in this for any of those who are just skimming through. Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

What I believe we should send with the I-129F:

Cover letter listing contents of the envelope

Letter of Intent to marry from my fiance

Letter of intent to marry from me

Payment of $535.00 USD (Cheque?)

Proof of having met within the past two years (photos of us with family, my plane tickets, receipts and conformations, tickets from art galleries and museums, record of border crossings for both of us)

Two passport photos of my fiance and a photo copy of his passport and birth certificate

Two passport photos of me

A photo copy of my passport and birth certificate (is this required?)

My criminal record check from the RCMP (Should I need this even if I have don't have a criminal record?)

The I-129F itself

Still we rise, here and now

Your passport,  BC and RCMP are NOT required for the petition.

It is sent to Texas

Thank you for your response! Otherwise everything in the list looks alright to you?

Photos are secondary evidence so don't put much emphasis on them.

Plane tickets,  receipts and confirmations doesn't mean much without a boarding pass (proof you actually flew).

Attraction tickets- unless you can tie them back to a person's name don't mean much

Boarding crossing evidence is the strongest

YMMV

Ongoing relationship evidence is not part of the I-129F evidence requirements ... only need evidence of having met in person within the past 2 years of filing.

Relationship evidence is for the actual visa interview at the embassy

we're going to file in Oct too but we no longer have the boarding pass, can we get a copy of that?  We have the itinerary, plane ticket and passport stamps, will that suffice?

My petition was approved with the same evidence. I didn’t keep the boarding passes and I doubt it’s possible to get copies afterwards.

Yehey🤗. Thanks. I feel so much better

Also copy every page of the passport(s) with entry/exit stamps. Some have received RFE for sending just a copy of the page with the stamps

oh oh. I didn't know that. We were gonna use this BC because all pages of the passport seems to be a waste of paper. (bye bye trees)

Ok imma tell him that. Thanks

Proof of ongoing relationship is always good as well. Conversations between the two of you. I’d say no more than 10-15 pages though.

This type of front loading is not generally needed for low fraud countries, like Canada.
